As I'm sure most of you do the same thing, I find myself getting caught up in the the Reaction stage more than I'd like to admit. I think it ties in close to the "Living in the moment" and "focusing on today" theory too.

Lets see--how can we challenge ourselves to live a life of Action all week long. hhhmmmm...how about this:

meeting our emotional needs:
tomorrow (wednesday 5/15) lets all challenge each other to do ONE thing that has been scaring the poop out of us and we've been putting off--

meeting our crafty needs:
and over the weekend, lets all challenge each other to do ONE craft technique we've been putting off, but wanna try.

AND.....I need to learn how to post pics....I have lost 73 lbs and have some wedding pics....life has been so fast and furious and it is slowing down somewhat...but my life is going in a new direction....crazy crazy...hugs Shelia

I've been lurking and after reading this I knew it was time to "act." There is SO MUCH that I've been putting off and using the baby as an excuse is just not cutting it anymore...especially now that he's 6 months old! So count me in!

Try using the kids as an excuse when they are 11 and 9!!! WOW--feels like I just realized how old they were when I typed it out just now. weird!!

Ha! As I began to fix some dinner, I think, "I need to check my email to see when the dance team meeting is of if I have missed it (again)". Check email and find two messeges with two different dates (?) Hummm, I ask my daughter, she calls a friend,it's tomorrow. BUT, these are teenagers so now I look up a dance team Mom's phone #, call her, yes it is tomorrow BUT could you please "reply all" and let the others know the meeting is tomorrow? "Sure", I say. I "reply all" but before I sign out I checkout Cr8 Everyday and resond to this question.....I am so totally REACTIONARY! But I am fine with it (sometimes or often a little frazzled) and yet I know it won't always be like this; teenagers do grow up and if I do my job right, will get their own lives.

Exactly!!! I'm with ya--it feels like you're always putting out fires and 'catching up' huh? At least you make time to WALK! ;-) lol--I just have videos of my budding start to edit...hehehe!
