I have Photoshop Elements so I think I can use these actions. There are work-arounds for Photoshop actions, but these are CS, so I'm not sure if they can be used. in Elements. I do love to play with my photos, though, and need to get some new effects. I seldom use a shot straight from the camera. And I haven't sent anything off to be developed in ages. I have my own photo printer and always print them as I need them. (And how I need them!)

Yeah...it did say in quite a few places that CS2 was the minimum program needed, but I think that must just be for this brands/sites actions because I have many friends who i've 'heard' use actions and I know they have Elements--or i'm pretty sure anyhoo. :)

Which photo printer do you use? I've always used HP's, but i'm dying for the oversized Epson one--

I have the HP Photosmart A826. I like it because it's small (I have a very tiny scrap space), it's portable (I scrap away from home a lot and like to take it and the laptop along), and it prints both 4x6 & 5x7 which is something I couldn't find in any other portable.

Is the Epson you want the R2400? I drool over that one every time I got to the LSS. I have a friend who has more money than dirt, and her husband told her to go ahead and get one. She can't decide if that's what she really wants! YIKES! I keep telling her to get it. If she doesn't like it he'll buy her another one! LOL!

Ok...does anyone know of free download actions?? I'm dying to try them now, but cannot pay $149~

I have never used actions (and only have PSE3) but from what I understand they are easy to use and I would love to be able to find some good free ones to try out. Pioneer Woman had some nice ones on her blog, but they were only for PS

I downloaded some free ones yesterday from Graphiliciousbut haven't even unzipped them yet to try!

Okay Linda - we need a tutorial from you. Cause I would really love to learn how to add effects to my photos using Photoshop. (if it's not too intensely complicated). Maybe just a very simple instruction. I think I need to take a class. I have a new DSLR and I got PSE6.0 for Christmas, so I'd really love how to get the most out of each of them!

Yeah, honestly, I used to think I was pretty computer saavy, until I tried going this whole digital scrapbook era. I'm feeling like my parents. You know how they just think that they can do every technological thing, but really, they are still trying to figure out how to program their VCR!!!!

Wellll...I've had PSE5 since it came out several years ago and I'm STILL learning new things. Elements Village is a great place for info.

I think my biggest "fixes" for photos is Enhance -->> adjust color -->>Remove color cast. This takes away too much blue or red, which seems to happen a lot with digital photos. Also Enhance -->> adjust color -->> adjust color for skin tone. Sometimes that one is like magic the way it corrects all the color in a photo.

Now I desperately need a DSLR. I have a wonder Fuji S5000 which CR rated as the best non-SLR when it came out. It does a lot of things very similar to a DSLR, but I need a "grown up" camera! LOL! I'm hoping for a sale on the Nikon D60. (I figure if Ashton Kutcher can use it, so can I! LOL!)

Love the color adjustment. Also, thank you for the photoshop site.
I have the D60 and I am LOVING it! Costco had a decent deal for the camera an extra lens and bag.

I hope so, because I was feeling pretty creative!  With summer well on its way, I’m getting into the fresh food groove and inspired to try some quick, simple recipes. The bright hues of the vegies reminded me of a garden party, which in turn made me remember I need to sew a few summer table [...]
