Welcome! Love your pix! Do you look like your mother or your father? Do you have chicks? Where is Satellite Beach? You didn't give a state, is it in Florida?
You are one of the few on this site who does drawing and painting, as I do, most are scrappers. I sew, but my crocheting is pretty pitiful. Not much action on the website lately, guess everyone is busy this time of the year. We have long cold winters, so I will be on here more in the months to come (when I am not sewing). Glad to have you.

OOO necklaces! COOL we made some cards-I need to desperately get some letter stamps because our titles look all askew--wibbly-wobley even. Snap a pic of the shawl and post it--that is some awesome yarn. :D

The memories u must have!

The sweater was actually crocheted in 1 peice. I dislike sewing my crocheted peices together so i looked for a pattern that did not require it.

I have some paints in tubes called texture magic, you spread them on and leave parts more dimensional than other areas, I got mine at walmart. you can also use stencils by laying them on your paper or canvas etc. and fill the stencil area with the paint, then remove the stencil and it leaves a dimensional copy of the stencil

I like to paint and alter things, dimensional paints are fun, I also use paints with rubber stamps. I really want to try painting on a canvas and see what I can come up with. haven't been brave enough yet though.

Is Potato Leek Soup Crafty?

I hope so, because I was feeling pretty creative!  With summer well on its way, I’m getting into the fresh food groove and inspired to try some quick, simple recipes. The bright hues of the vegies reminded me of a garden party, which in turn made me remember I need to sew a few summer table [...]
