In these tough times reports show that crafters are busier than ever making what they need instead of buying. Using up thier personal craft stashes rather than buying new. Like for instance making your own jewlery instead of buying or giving handmad…

I Erica, Welcome welcome. Great cards, I love cards with dimension, like the glitter and epoxy that you have used. They are just beautiful. Be sure to post some of them here so you can share your gift and some how too's too. hugs LeAnn

Thank you! I love it too. I wish I could spend more time there! Glad to meet you. I see you are a sewer and a cake decorator. I was a cake decorator for 30 years. You do beautiful roses. I also have done a little (very little) poly-clay beading. Can't say I am a scrapper tho. Love your BABIES!

Hi - thanks for your comment, yes the dogs are adourable and so very soft natured and I see them every day at work. You've got some great pics on your site. I'm still learning scrapbooking etc and so far have only done family cards and a couple of quilts for my Mother who lives in the UK but they are getting better. Maybe one day I'll be brave enough to put some on my site. Working full time doesn't give me much time to practise.

Great to hear from you

Is Potato Leek Soup Crafty?

I hope so, because I was feeling pretty creative!  With summer well on its way, I’m getting into the fresh food groove and inspired to try some quick, simple recipes. The bright hues of the vegies reminded me of a garden party, which in turn made me remember I need to sew a few summer table [...]

Crocheted Flowers Everywhere!

Love love love Shelly’s tutorial on how-to crochet flowers. And let me tell you what, they are HOT STUFF right now. While you perfect your technique, there are a few places you can find them already made for you! Close to My Heart has a collection of embellishments called White Daisy Mini Medley Accents. With it [...]

I just put down the March ‘09 issue of Creating Keepsakes Magazine. Wow - bracket frames, stamps, die cuts, journaling spots are HOT STUFF! And I love love love them. They make a bold statement on your projects and they do a great job highlighting anything you put on them, journaling, title, quote, etc. Check [...]
