Hi Kris, I hope you have a blast at IKEA ;) The desk and cubbie shelves are IKEA, as well as the boxes and the punch organization (i sooo have an IKEA problem) Anyway, I use the 2 far shelves under the desk for my modem and my power strips (so I never really need to access them). The close ones have my extra ink and extra computer cords in them. The desk is actually really big and there is a lot of space to get to the back shelves, but (to your point) it can be annoying. My room is 13feet by 12feet (of course due to the angled fireplace and built-in it ends up being smaller than the full 12ft). Here are the links for product info:

I'm going to the IKEA store next week! I love your idea for the punches. Is that IKEA, too? I guess I should have first said that your room is great! I love the fact that you have the fireplace and that built-in bookshelf. How big is the room? Sorry, but it's time for me to organize and I need ideas!
