Where did the fall go?

Seems like we've been gone forever! My last post spoke about summer, and now we are almost into winter! We've been very fortunate, though, only a sprinkling of snow so far, and the last week has been really warm. No snowsuits for Halloween!
The boys are halfway through their training in Mississippi, and will leave for Louisiana shortly. They will be home for Christmas (12/23 thru 1/2) and then leave for Iraq. Sure do miss them!
Sad news...we lost our dog a few weeks ago. He developed something I can't even try to pronounce, and it was untreatable, so we had to put him to sleep. He's had problems for the past year and was okay with antibiotics, but he got to the point where the medications wouldn't help anymore.
I've been busy with my booth at the farm and craft market since May, and we are starting the Christmas season tonight with special hours (usually only open on Saturday). It always looks so pretty at night with all the Christmas lights sparkling. I spent over eight hours decorating and rearranging everything yesterday.
It's been fun "catching up" with everyone here. Good to be back!
